As someone who finds interest in space and the unknown, he's positive there is life on other planets. Both are good depending on situations. It's selfless to want happiness for others, but it's always good to make oneself happy as long as it's not for selfish reasons. 001. Dario is not hard to befriend, as he's open to meeting almost anyone and everyone. He is not one to discriminate nor judge others superficially. But do not mistake his laidback attitude for being a pushover. Despite being chill, he is very bold, outspoken and unfiltered. If he's annoyed, he won't be afraid to show it or say so; do not mistake that as him being an asshole. He may have a somewhat cold exterior, but he is quite soft and sentimental on the inside.002. He works as a clerk at the local music/guitar shop in his neighborhood, sometimes teaching people and children who come in for lessons. from time to time, he works at the arcade underneath his apartment because the landlord who owns both, felt pity on him and let him rent for free if he worked there sometimes. and when there's a long break, he'll help out at his grandparents' apple orchard. If desperate for cash- he will work odd jobs even if they may be illegal.003. He and his siblings were born with powers, just referred to as "The Power"; inherited from their dad's side of the family.004. He moved out when he was 19, but his siblings still live with their grandparents. He'll occasionally visit them and take them out, doing the best to spoil them when they deserve it. He also likes to give back to his grandparents in return for taking care of them without question. They eventually revealed their powers to them; and though they were surprised- it didn't make them love them any less.

005. Due to his mother dying when he was a kid, he had a hard time coping with the loss, unable to understand why he would never be able to see his mother again, and as he got older, that grief made him slowly become much more serious than his rambunctious child self.006. Despite getting into bad situations (stealing, selling drugs and street racing, etc) so young- Dario is actually very smart. As a child he was very gifted academically and musically. But losing his mom made him not enjoy the same things as much anymore because they were things he shared with his mom. he nearly gave up on doing well in school and stopped trying as hard until his dad helped him cope with his grief better.007. Dario is a musical prodigy; able to compose and produce his own music/songs and even build stringed instruments as a hobby. He took after his mother who loves to sing and had a career in music. He can sing and even rap, but is often too shy to because of being teased for his voice by his friends when they were kids. Sometimes he finds the courage to post videos on tiktok showcasing his talents but that's if he's feeling very confident.008. If he's not working in some way, Dario either spends a lot of time alone (sometimes hangs with the neighborhood folks). he's either on social media like tiktok and reddit (alias/gamtertag online is 'juicyfruit'), playing video games, or playing the guitar/ playing around and making music in his free time.(More to be added as the muse develops)

Sometime after their 10th move, Dario's little brother had accidentally used his powers and got caught on camera trying to prank his teacher— Luckily no one outside the family actually believed the teacher's accusations, but their family was still forced to move once more. Their father decided to move them back to his hometown in Brisbane, Australia, where Dario was born. Since they were older, they managed to live there for 7 years without getting caught aside from a few close calls. Life seemed to be going well again for their small family.
And then it happened.The twins were playing in the front yard when the sound of them shouting caught Dario's attention. He was 16 at the time- the twins only 12. Pausing his homework to get up and check on the ruckus, he rushes outside just in time to see the neighbor kid shove and push his brother backwards before punching him in the face; his sister screaming in distress from behind. Dario notices the fake blood on the bully's shirt and on his brother's hands- recalling his siblings asking him if he wanted to play zombies with them earlier. Seems his brother accidentally spilled the fake blood on the other kid and that's why he was so angry.Eyes widen as his brother retaliates and punches the kid back; the blow hitting a little too hard- His powers manifesting in that moment as his emotions get to him. Dario yells for them to stop, just as the bully stumbles back and falls- Hitting his head on a large rock, knocking him out. It's in that very moment that the bully's father's car pulls up- just in time to only see the part where his son got hurt. The man fumes, phone in hand; the police already on their way. It's not too long before a cop car pulls up onto their street and a frazzled young police officer steps out. Shouting, he yells for the siblings to put their hands over their head, a gun pointing out at them as he points out the 'blood' on the neighbor's kid; not knowing that it was only paint.The situation escalates even more as Dario tries his best to calm the officer down, pleading for him to put the gun away and let them explain. But it's useless. The cop is shaken, nervous- He was clearly a rookie with a trigger happy finger. As the twins begin to cry, Dario continues to beg and talk some sense into the cop, but is unable to do much as they're repeatedly commanded to put their hands up in the air and lay on the ground. With no other choice, Dario urges the twins to do as they're told.

It's only when their father finally comes running out to check what's going on that things take a turn for the worse. Gauging the situation, he knows his kids aren't the bad ones. He knows his children are good kids; it was all just a misunderstanding. Attempting to get the officer to listen to reason- it only makes things worse as the officer grows more unstable as he suddenly points his gun towards their father. Their father slowly tries to approach the officer, hoping they could talk it out but it fails to do anything else but make the officer even more frightened. "Stay back!" The officer threatens before pulling the trigger.The siblings stare in horror as they watch their father fall to the ground, lifeless. His sister lets out a loud cry that rumbles and shakes the ground, causing a shockwave to blast into their street- Trees falling, flipping, electricity poles bursting and collapsing, property getting damaged- And most of all, the cop goes flying to the ground, knocking him unconscious and injured. As tears well up in Dario's eyes, he crawls over to their fallen father, shaking his lifeless body as he helplessly pleads for his dad to wake up. The sound of police sirens blare from down the street, causing Dario to make an important decision. Without much thought, he quickly takes action and pulls the twins into the house to gather some belongings. With a backpack each containing a few important items and some clothing, the siblings take one last look at their father on the ground and say their final goodbyes as the sirens become louder; signaling the inevitable.And just like that, Dario knew he didn't want to be separated from his little brother and sister. The authorities would ask questions as to how this all could have happened and there was no explaining that everything was an accident. No one would believe them. So he does what he knew was the only thing he can do- and teleports them all the way across the world to Seoul, South Korea on the front door of his mother's childhood home- The home of their grandparents.In just one afternoon, their life was flipped upside down and they knew that things were never going to be the same anymore. With the loss of their mother, the loss of their father- Dario knew he had to step up to the plate.

Fast forward a few years later, Dario has taken it upon himself to be the one to care for his siblings and grandparents despite no one telling him to. Once he finished high school, he immediately got to work, wanting to be able to repay his grandparents for taking him and his siblings in so abruptly. They didn't have much, and with 3 children coming to their home unannounced needing food and shelter, Dario knew he couldn't let them take on all the responsibility. So he worked whenever he could and with whatever he could- Even if it meant doing something illegal. He would eventually find himself working with shady characters- But he didn't care- he only wanted to do what he thought was best for his family.Though he had a day job and occasionally helped out at his grandparents' apple orchard in the countryside, he couldn't help but continue his criminal activity. From stealing to selling drugs to taking up whatever odd job from some corrupt powerful individuals- Dario did whatever he could to give back and provide for his siblings and grandparents. Luckily for him, his powers came in handy for a lot of those tougher and shadier jobs- Secretly using them to his advantage. No one suspected a thing; just assumed he was really good at what he did.

We judge others by their actions and ourselves by our intentions

Once he turned 19 though, he finally moved out of his grandparents home to be on his own, much easier to work alone without the concerned eyes of his loved ones. Since the twins were older, he knew they would be alright staying with their grandparents. With some of the money he saved up for himself, Dario finds himself across town living in a studio apartment above the arcade he found work at (thanks to a kind landlord who took a liking to Dario like his own grandson); easily settling in with his newfound freedom and independency. A few months in and he ends up taking up a second job at a nearby music shop, wanting a reason to be near music in some capacity without it only being his hobby. He takes it upon himself to teach people, mostly children, how to play guitar. He can't help but be reminded of his musical mother, her influence being the main reason why he learned to love music so much.Months go by before turning into a year. Dario finds his life to be fairly normal: not using his powers as much unless it was in private or to do those odd jobs when needed. It may have seemed almost.. mundane, but this was the life he wanted. He figured it was better this way. Stable and out of trouble- and at least he was able to help provide for his siblings and help out his grandparents.Even though he was focused on taking care of his family and making his mom and dad proud, Dario knew that he wanted to do greater things someday. His love for music was something that always kept him going. Dreams of working with music in every capacity; he was going to be like his late mother- albeit, in his own way. His talents in creating music, in performing, was something he could share with the world. Not for fame or money, but for the love of it. For now though, he continues to live his mostly-humble life, taking each day one step at a time.Spoiler alert? Life has been pretty boring lately.. Wonder what fun could happen in Dario's life next?
